We provide energy efficiency programs to underserved and hard-to-reach public, commercial, and residential customers in 17 counties in rural Northern California: Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Lassen, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Tuolumne, and Yuba counties.

For Your Home
We can help single-family residential customers looking to complete large energy efficiency projects, including insulation and heat pump installation. We will also help you navigate after-purchase rebates and provide you with energy efficiency kits and energy assessments over the phone and in person.

We work with small businesses to access rebates for energy efficiency upgrades, including refrigeration, water heaters, and HVAC.

Workforce Training
The Workforce, Education, and Training (WE&T) Program will connect contractors and emerging professionals with training in energy efficiency skills to support building and upskilling the local workforce.
Codes & Standards
The Codes and Standards Program will connect building departments, designers, and construction communities with training and resources to more efficiently reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in rural California’s most environmentally challenged regions.
Finance
The Financing Equity Program provides gap financing for other loan products, such as PG&E’s 0% interest On-Bill Financing and Go Green Financing. The program will also offer micro-loans under $5,000 for small projects.
